Who this is

ECL is the web studio of Rasul Ertugrul, based in Türkiye. When this page says "I", it means me. For anything about your data, write to hello@studioecl.com.

What I collect

• What you send me. The contact form asks for your name, work email, company website, budget range and a message. If you write by email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Telegram instead, I get what you put in that message.
• Server logs. The company that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs: IP address, browser, the page requested, the time. I don't use them to identify anyone.

That is all. No accounts, no advertising pixels, no newsletter list, no data bought from anyone.

Cookies and your browser

This site sets no cookies. It saves one value in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It never leaves your device.

The site does not run analytics today. If that changes, this page changes first, and where the law asks for your consent you will be asked.

Others involved

• Google Fonts. The typefaces load from Google's servers, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
• The contact form. A message sent through the form goes straight to my inbox through Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. No other service sees it.
• Hosting and email. The providers that host this site and carry my email process data on my behalf.
• Client sites in the case studies. The case studies show working copies of client websites inside frames. Those copies can load media from the services the original sites use, such as a video player.

Why I use it, and for how long

I use what you send to answer you and, if we work together, to run the project. That is the whole purpose. I don't sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone for marketing.

If an enquiry doesn't become a project, I delete it within twelve months. Project records stay as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Where it goes

I work from Türkiye, and my providers run servers in the EU and the United States. Your message may be stored in any of those places.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to hello@studioecl.com and I will answer within thirty days. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK give you these rights, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children and I don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
